Another reason I’d say is it probably took a role on the artist or studio to work on this manwha and the art is so superb it’d be crazy to be producing that amount of high quality art weekly.

But yea honestly this is among the best series I’ve ever read in general. Only few manwha have a better Cohesive World-Building than this. There’s none other that creates a medieval world that feels believable. It combines historical elements, such as the Roman Empire and Norse mythology, in a way that contributes to the story's authenticity. All characters have personal motivations, virtues, and vices. Even minor characters receive attention, adding depth to the overall narrative. Like the prince, urich’s crew and the old man, the princess and more. And not to mention the themes of mystery and exploration which are explored through urich’s curiosity regarding others’ cultures and the iron-clad armor. Planning to read the novel sometime soon after my semester ends💔

Sad this isn’t just the end of season 2 but the end of the manhwa adaptation since it has “reached its completion with ch 100”. I feel like it probably didn’t sell well in Korea or didn’t appeal to their readers which is kinda disappointing since this was such a unique series

The first generation leader of the sect did develop the “gathering of ten shadows” martial art whose sole practitioner in the current timeline is Jin Mu-Won who learned it by reading the writings within the courtyard of the Northern Heavenly Sect wherein the martial arts were inscribed on the walls in the earliest chs.

But the martial art itself wasn’t created to eliminate Yul-Cheon because at that time the first leader himself didn’t know he was getting used so the martial art was just for members of the sec to learn. But as time went by, the following leaders refined the martial art tried to refine it more although mostly the 3rd leader did refine it after a battle against spear of the black wings

Yul cheon has managed to exist for a significant number of decades, which increases the probability of him possessing expertise in every form of martial art or possessing extensive knowledge about them. However, considering Jin's vast experience and mastery of foot techniques, coupled with the incorporation of innovative techniques, the possibility of achieving such a feat may be feasible.

You needa go back and reread some of the earliest chs lol. Yes, the body was skinned but the silent night leader used some martial arts to transfer his soul into the body. The body was skinned, hence why it took him a long time to get used to the body and the reason he wore bandages covering even his face. It took about a decade for him to get used to the body. Not to mention, it’s not his first time moving into a new body so he’s got used to it I guess

The mc doesn’t have time to create a specific art related to martial arts at the moment but learning some secret technique that he can use to defeat Yul-Cheon is possible imo. I feel like this fight will end with the night leader loosing and mc showing up at the last moment to go up against yul-cheon

So all this was a quarrel between brothers turned into war that has lasted for years in murim… I wouldn’t mind if we got a sequel focused on the night leader’s past life
