The hole interaction with the guild manager and his daughter only accomplished a broken door and some rude behavior for nothing.
Even if anti-simp behavior is kinda commendable, MC's total lack of sex drive is very boring and is a missed opportunity to make the story more engaging

The whole GS concept has definitely changed a lot and it seems out of balance compared to it's beginning.
The extremes of comfy village life, the friends and joking about GS's goofy stoicisms doesn't fit with the banal quests and then suddenly young women have their fingers chopped off or they're run through with wooden stakes. It doesn't rhyme anymore.

It's definitely a real problem all writers face. The journey is more interesting than the destination, but if dragged out for too long it also becomes boring because it's inconsequential for the story.
