Just taking shots in the dark here since I can't read Japanese, but Eury not being considered attractive feels off.

Nobody gets why they did it. It's utterly pointless (no pun intended).

I guess they want to increase engagement for some reason by giving us little "prizes" for it, which makes it odd though that votes cost points, disencouraging voting.

Also the "prizes" so far are stupid. An ad-blocker will make one of them moot and the other feature was free with disqus, just making people angry at the admins.

There was also no announcement that they would do this and no explanation why either. They just threw it at us out of the blue.

Oh boy, MC is about to show this Lord Velcro just how miserable life can be, for daring to mess with his friend. Probably going to shatter the soul that the douchebag just summoned from the tower.
