How could they mistranslate the name of a dish? I find that hard to believe, unless they took a lot of creative liberties or its a literal translation. It would be hard to mess up pork, even if it was translated across 3 different languages.
And your point about it not being a sophisticated language is just wrong, its at least in the top 3 languages with the most vocabulary, up there with Arabic.
