Well that was shorter than I thought would be.

You came to his village with a huge army with the intent to kill everyone there, including his daughter and himself with the bigger intent to start a huge way between humans and non-humans to force non-humans into slavery, which, in turn, would make all surviving non-humans band together and kill all humans. With a plan so convoluted, why would he join you if it means sacrificing his own village?

I know he was wrong But when I put myself in his place, I can empathize with him.

I call this bad writing, that guy is their close friend and almost brought doom to them(that part about letting the daughter of the chief captured and made into a sex slave say it a lot). He should have understood and accepted that he lost. Here he is acting like a moron, when there is literally no reason for him to do that. Are you telling me one of the 4 generals can be capable of acting like a low class villian? It is just forced as hell.

In short, bad writing. I will say it for how many times it would take. Illogical. You could have let him cried a bit about his lover at the end too, so it was just him frustrated that he couldn't avenge her. But here he is just blaming people for what he put on himself. The author should just stick to writing about harem romance and low class villians.
