The story is so open-ended.
However I feel like this should have ended with Shiva looking at her Treeacher, and slowly dying still patting her head.
That would be incredibly-sad yet incredibly powerful.

Man I'm not gonna lie, idk if I should be happy or if I should be sad. Many parts of this story left me with emotions like sadness, anxiey, happiness. Just an emotional rollercoaster overall, but Idk how to feel about the ending. It's not bad, it's actually pretty good, but I'm so confused on some stuff like why the author refused to show her face. Either way, I'll take the last panel as a sign that "Shiva" came back and they both lived happily ever after. Recenty I feel like I've ranked too many series as 10/10, but I just don't know any other rating to give stuff. Like I just genuinely can't find any problems with any series sometimes, and it amazes me. Now imma go read Tokyo Ghoul.

This the ending of the Chimera Ant Arc, metaphorically. idk why they don't just show her either, the first person perspective is weird and loses momentum.

It's unclear what if any affect this had on the world. Sad to not get more details on the lore. Kind of a passive story without a culmination -- it seemed more special the less information we had, imo. But I loved it overall.

The teasing! I loved this, i really enjoy stories like this. The ups and downs, a great read. Can't wait for the anime~
