This is stupid. Unless it's a translation error, the weapon description mentioned that damage to the blade would be reflected. Not to the person wielding it. I find it hard to believe that KK couldn't have found a way to outmaneuver the weapon and land a couple of solid hits on Taerim, given his outlandish stats. This is what happens when the author overpowers an MC to the point of stupidity. We just end up with situations like this, which make no sense. There was no reason for KK to prove his strength, at least his character hasn't so far indicated hard-headedness. He could've disarmed Taerim, and gotten the weapon without breaking it. Ugh.
