ShadowCloak13This by far the best way to show some is looping not just using 20 chapters of it just to show she is looping and little changes can affect a scenario. DocDoguuConsidering the promise of reaching the surface, Luffy destroying the island could mean three different things. 1. It already happened, since the battle with Jones was a disaster which did cause harm to the island and even its infrastructure. 2. It already happened, as the two parts of the island became one, and one district was destroyed, changing the social landscape permanently. 3. It will happen, when the promise is fulfilled and the island becomes deserted.
