The U.S. is a country with people from all nations, what was the author smoking when he thought the U.S. was like European countries? There are no Americans like the Germans, British or French, it is a conglomeration of different nations.

And Americans are taking all the skilled people with them to make their country stronger, so I have no idea what the author of this manga was thinking.

It would be more fitting to show that the Americans are taking other countries' best players to themselves.

  Not just that, if you look at the literal real-world analogue here with e-sport teams, you'll find that many (most?) of the top-ranking and well-known NA teams are comprised predominantly of foreign players, with a considerable portion being Asian. And nobody bats an eye.

    You don't understand the argument you used. Your argument is a validation of my observation.
    
    America first, no matter where you are from. You may be from Europe, Africa, Asia, but take care of your new home - the USA.
    
    The U.S. welcomes everyone, no matter where they are from, and gives them opportunities for a decent life without racial discrimination, but like any normal and decent place, it requires caring for the homeland, respect and concern. This is why so many people want to emigrate there. Of course, this is a simplistic picture, because the ideal place on earth does not exist, the US is simply one of the best, especially in terms of tolerance.

      Maybe the most diverse, but most tolerant I would need a statistic for that. I might even argue South Africa, bc white people are actually the minority and black people are more tolerant about them. Just for the sake of the argument. I know that SA has a lot of problems.

        South Africa is full of tragedies (Plaasmoorde), where white people are butchered like pigs with machetes, not to mention worse tortures on young children There is a reason why people flee there as soon as they have the opportunity. Before Twitter did total censorship, you could find plenty of videos of the slaughter, because the blacks bragged about their achievements and recorded their hunts themselves. White farmers begged many governments for help, but no one helped.

  I agree, i have found that naturalistic attitude to be more prevalent in S Korea and Japan when i visited them. Again not everyone there was like that, they were very nice but there was always this clear line that i was NOT a member of their culture. While in America we dont judge by how someone looks, if they fly the flag n stand by our values then you are one of us. That’s what it means to be a cultural melting pot.
  But i think this is classic self projection on the authors part. If you see asian culture doing a medieval story the sword combat may have wester swords buy the usage of the swords is very eastern. That’s mainly bc thats is what they know, same instance here the author wanted to do this “you are not from our country” but the only style that they have to go on is how Koreans did it bc that is what they know.
