Obviously she’s set up as easy to hate, but she’s just too good an antagonist to get rid of there. So I’m glad there wasn’t a finale yet. Other notes, maybe she’ll reconsider the trench coat fashionista look for mobility reasons next time. This isn’t the matrix, and unless she’s trying to conceal a arsenal on her person it’s just liable to get in the way. The suits while also good as a uniform have major mobility drawbacks. I need to wear one as someone protected, but in a region where I expect shit to go down I don’t want to bodyguards following that example. The last thing thst comes to mind, that might end up being dumb af in that stare-down is a head-but. I’d be tempted, but with the masks and a skilled attacker if I was already struggling to keep up it would be stupid.

True enough, and those cases usually involve “thugs” not special forces grade trained attackers. With a handgun adjustments on aim at close range are possible, but most conventional shooting stances don’t account for irregular angles or point blank scenarios. Then other thing is that while a gun is a devastating weapon, one shot one kill is for the movies even if you consider more lethal rounds. A persistent attacker in “feel no pain full adrenaline mode” will be slowed, but don’t expect it to end . Who knows how it would play out against professionals, but failing to land a hit, may end up resulting in being disarmed and forced to fight effectively barehanded against a knife wielder. Dangerous stuff, you might be better off using the gun and stock as both a means of deflecting and blunt weapon until the distance is right. It’s why training and experience are so critical, eruptions of violence leave little time to think, but it can often be the critical difference. I’ve had my share if both, but nothing like what an elite operative would go through. A close childhood friend is now a medic on seal team 3 and I remember seeing him a couple times during some points in the training process, once because he had to stop due to a particularly large hole in his foot, and as brutal as it was it all makes only too much sense, to push that hard in training alone. As if he didn’t have balls of steel already, the decision to become a medic ups the ante. Needing to keep a cool head being a combatant, and responsible for attending to the gruesome injuries of your close sqiadmates. That’s some crazy shit. I’ve learned some field med techniques, out of necessity after being caught up in a nasty situation in SEA, but there’s always the divide between the fact you’re either doing it for your own survival or those near you. It allows for a sense of detachment, doing it competently, no dict tape super glue cauterizing wounds kind of shit on people your close enough to to consider brothers? That’s in a while other level. Nothing but respect there, what a guy.
