        I get that theres a mystery (MC kept repeating it), but the chapter has to at least keep the reader engaged. Even if they're hinting a huge mystery from the start, it's useless if the execution of the story is bland and boring or in this case-- confusing.

        It felt like a lot of ideas(and edgy lines) are cramped in a single chapter making everything confusing. I can't even tell what's happening at my first read, I had to re-read it again, and Im still not convinced that the mystery is worth staying for.
