Man, the King look not that promising

The kingdom and his "friends" still betrayed him, but this doesn't appear to be a revenge story. Honestly the hardest would be the betrayal of his childhood friend (sweetheart?). What I find irritating about this is that Noel's response is basically oh well shit happens. He does say he wants to leave a peaceful life until his emotions calm down, so you could look at it as a mature response to something he is unable to change.

Yeah, Instead of a copy&paste, this is more like copy>paste>edit kind of thing, so it's a smidge bit less irritating(2%) than similar series if your said event/setting/circumstance doesn't appear, but it still lacks originality and the so-called drip to begin to be called enjoyable I'm not saying I could even come close to making a series like this though. For me, it's like reading a few bad/below acceptable/just not there yet/ underwhelming series for the sake of being more appreciative of the better series.

its generally the thing with edgy stories.
they ALWAYS go overboard with the cruelty or that the people are straight up evil, no explanation NOTHING.
return of the healer is the most sane story with most understandable characters....
let that sink in.

😅 for pretending he didn't exist? He was buried for a year, I mean yeah they could've put some effort into getting him out of the rubble but still not exactly their fault.

Obviously the king set things in motion to have the mc be replaced by his son to get the heroic credit but luckily for our mc getting buried probably saved him from a cruel betrayl by the kingdom.

As it stands no one can betray a man who everyone, including those who probably planed to kill him, thinks died.

Those who would abandon even one of their friends are worse than scum

He really just went damn that sucks and went along with it.

it's always the same "we gods/goddesses can't intervene too much with the mortal realm" bs.....
