Orlando GrayA couple of things bothered me about this chapter. First, they claim they can’t accuse Bishop Levios of foul play because there’s no proof—but they just confiscated a bunch of magical artifacts (holy relics) that coincidentally went missing from the Sven church years ago. Wouldn’t the logical next step be to trace those relics back to the original theft and review the investigations? That might reveal whether Levios—or someone else—had a hand in stealing them.
Second, when Beryl goes to investigate the local Sven church, why do the believers attack him? He hadn’t uncovered any damning evidence yet. If he’d found something linking Bishop Levios to the kidnappings or the stolen relics, that would be one thing. But as it stands, it feels like a major overreaction. Killing him would set off a much louder alarm than trying to quietly assassinate Twilight in prison. The commotion alone would likely draw outside attention—either some knights step in, or Myui runs for help.
All in all, it just feels like a bit of weak writing.
ServerclosedI'm in chapter 40 and feels like everything is going to be resolved in 20 more, then again, this manga so far has 147... Did mc get his revenge already?
