let's remember tatoos are know as criminal markins in asia and they think the purity of skin is above everything.

Yeah, monstrous is doubtful, but a crown prince having those things would've been seen aas hideous.

All i see is an adorable kid wearing temporary tatoos to look like his cool leather jacke bound uncle.

Had to re-read it because at first I thought the author was hyping up that the ML had a "monstrous face" and was disappointed to see it was just tattoos, but maybe that's not the case or it could be a translation error.
