MC is good before and after becoming a girl. It has very little impact on the plot. Unfortunately, author does too much. The mecha addition is so pointless and lame. I could deal with the politics and military strategy, but that on top of goofy mecha stuff makes like 40% of the chapters tedious. Also, there are more characters than a russian novel, all of whom have their own extensively developed subplots. The level of detail in this manhwa is maybe the best in the medium, full stop, but it's maximalistic to the point of being confusing. With the number of characters, political threads, and plotlines, you basically have to binge or you'll forget everything. It's almost to the point where you'd have to take notes to understand what's going on in later chapters because you get extended scenes with people from every country and it becomes unclear if you should be rooting for or against them, and what their relationship is to the MC. This would be way better if the scope of the story was limited to MC because he is the best part by a mile. One of the most enjoyable OP MCs i've read.

You can never predict in high school sports. Brookfield Central had a strong team in 1978, that they were sure would go to the State championships. It failed, and at the end of the regular season was 9-24. Yet at that point, the team caught fire, and won its next six games, winning its way to the state tournament in Wisconsin. (First team with a losing record to go to the state tournament.) That being the final eight, they fought hard in the first game and lost by two points. Amazing game. I was there in Madison playing my trombone, and hollering for the team. (This was the only day I missed high school.) The next year the team was overconfident, as they felt that the few seniors they lost were of little account. They had a great season, and lost in the first round of the post-season. So, what's my point? Taiki is doing super-well. He needs to keep pursuing his strength and not get distracted much, aside from Chinatsu.

Murim Alliance and Dark Heaven might both be groups fighting for power but at least Murim Alliance isn't planning for mass murder every other day. This guy came to destroy the Murim Alliance first even though it is lesser of the two "evils" and is currently trying to avoid a great war. Meanwhile Dark Heaven, who are doing everything in their power to cause it, are somehow excluded from his "destroy list". Even though he knows that destroying the Murim Alliance at this critical time would allow Dark Heaven to start killing thousands of people, this stupid bastard still won't compromise.
