No offense to the writer but showing the result of the 2 months training was a huge mistake. I don't feel any suspense in any if the situations where blackout is involved because surprise surprise we already know he mastered it. I don't feel suspense about masks because surprise surprise we already saw everyone important in the time skip. Let's get over this arc quickly and resume the timeline

  Hes just like yuji when the monster takes over he can do is just return back to normal he hasn't mastered it as using the blackout while being rational like the others where they are still rational while fighting using blackout

    I think Kaen69 is referring to chapter 89 where there is a 2 Month time skip
    
    I went back to check it and yeah at the end of chapter 89 we see suchan attacking a base with his blackout under his control and then at the end he's like "I have to tell you what happened during those 2 months" ("you" referring to best girl)
    
    We've been in a flash back/retelling since chapter 89

    pretty sure the twist for the blackouts is going to be that he has been controlling them since the start, or that the insect is just helping him out during blackouts to make sure he doesn't die

      I feel like the blackout twist is going to be that somehow the insect they fused with is still alive and trying to get the body back. Eating another insect might be like an alarm that wakes it up. And just like the human gets benefits from the insect, I feel like the insect would gain some too, like enhanced intelligence or something if it gets to take over the human
