    actually....now that i think about it, there were previous circumstances where he didn't feel the temperature of objects he superheated or the extreme cold he produced

      I don't think that's the case, there was the time when he got caught in the explosion of the pyromancer when they tried to save the holy maiden, he's feeling hot here is indeed weird

        I think he can use his ability to adapt his body's temperature but it requires much more control so he only used it in angry mode

        hm I don't think that is the case too, his immunity to heat is more like a passive effect, as shown when he was bathed with a hot soup all over when he was a kid, he wasn't realized it because it didn't feel hot at all, the one he needs control is his active effect and that is the ability to operate a thermal/heating stuff like an oven as he was told, and since he doesn't have a class, there's no limit to his power so he really needs control over it
