Deadmeat5150My guess is that the regressor loses his stone to Suho somehow, and that some ultra-powerful asshole came and smashed up all his shit. The current MC is actually the second Suho, and lost his regression memories when he came through the portal to Esrth.

But also, I was not serious. My statement was not serious at all. I was not about to write a paper on what would need to change to make this scientifically possible, so maybe tone down the rude bit when people are just enjoying stuff in their own way.
