Okay, this one is all right, I certainly do like how sincere the (not really) villainess is, and how the prince actually plans to redeem Isabella's rep afterwards at the cost of his own downfall (I'm pretty sure there is another story before this where the prince does something similar but doesn't plan anything beyond the annulment, so the innocent villainess would have been doomed had the misunderstanding not been cleared there and then - so it feels like the prince doesn't deserve the happy ending at all).

Anyway, the most out-of-place thing here is Isabella's childhood friend. Why was he given such a role when it doesn't add anything to the story (I thought he would turn out to be the real love interest or something at first!)? It could have been any ordinary guard, advisor or servant in this case.

Skill and technique aside, when you get man and woman of similar skill the man will likely win due to his weight and strenght difference., simple physics that cannot be ignored, we are build different. About a week ago I've watched a video of gym girls vs avg dudes and dudes lost in only one category since it was stricly gym related and one of them was simply a couch type of guy lacking stamina. In close combat category the dudes had destroyed the girls due to natural weight and strenght advantage that couldn't be overcomed by some training.
Yes weapons can even things out but if a man puts his strenght into a swing and a girl tries to block it she will have a bad time
