On an unrelated note, i hope they give Jenna a more on-screen role in the story because i feel like her interactions with Vlad have been mostly implied or completely off screen and i really like how these two characters bounce off of each other, like they make the "dense childhood friends" trope bearable imo. Also any moment with Marcella being a proud mom like last chapter is welcome. I'd like to see her interact with lady Oksana since they're Vlad's Mother figures on both sides of his societal statuses (any novel readers please tell me if it will ever happen, i would love to know)

Let’s flip the scenario and see what falls into place:

1. Dishonest from the start
Suppose Mizuhara wasn’t answering honestly at first—she was answering her questions for the sake of the date. That would explain her puzzled reaction at the end of the chapter. But if she was faking it, doesn’t that mirror Kazuya’s own behavior? He, too, matched her answers on the love compatibility test until his real feelings took over. In other words, they were on the same page from the very beginning.

2. A shift toward honesty
Now imagine that, by the chapter’s end, Mizuhara finally starts answering her questions truthfully. That perfectly parallels Kazuya’s motive: he, too, was only matching her responses on the test at first, but then began answering honestly once his feelings deepened. Their simultaneous shift suggests a remarkable symmetry—and makes them a bona fide match.

3. Stubborn souls in sync
Even though Mizuhara’s test results are 100 percent, her skepticism at the end of the chapter remains genuine. But this entire arc has shown us that, whether they’re together or apart, Kazuya and Mizuhara’s actions mirror each other perfectly—proving they’ve been a perfect match from the start. If they’re not meant to be, that’s fine—I’ve always been Team Sumi. I’ve always thought she was the better girl and that she understood Kazuya more than Mizuhara ever could. But that’s just my opinion.

4. Love, labels, and red flags
No matter how you slice it, Kazuya truly cares for Mizuhara, and she truly cares for him—even if she hasn’t labeled her feelings as “love” yet. We won’t know her verdict on the compatibility test until next week: will she commit to a relationship with Kazuya, or keep it strictly platonic and continue as a rental girlfriend? A few chapters ago, Mizuhara insisted she’d quit her job if she ever entered a real relationship—quitting would be the only fair thing for her clients, since it would be unfair to be in love while going on rental dates. Now she says she still wants to go on rental dates. To me, that reinforces her selfish streak—and it isn’t fair to Kazuya, because he’d have to support her dating other guys while being with her. He’s already shown he’d sacrifice anything to support her—that’s how much she means to him. So, to me, this feels like a red flag—but that’s just my take. Whatever she decides next could easily backfire in the long run.
