You dont get a character like that because of stupid comrades, you already have to have something generally wrong with you to resort to as bad of a personality as his. Ive seen way worse revenge stories than these with worse happening to the mc, and the things that have happened to him are imo generally pretty tame, and the mc's havent even turned out even 1/5th of how disgustingly bad this mc gets. You even want to praise our mc for 'saving' the village he put in harms way in the first place, and then you misguide your hate to someone like Sieg, who's just being a good person, and youre hating him??? all he did was save a child and try his best, his 'mentor' died, albeit Alex isnt the best person there is, but to Sieg it meant enough, and it meant a lot, Sieg hates his own powerlessness and how he thinks he's setting back Kang, thats why he's on this journey in the first place, to get stronger. How do you get on a level of delusion like this? The villagers praised Sieg over Kang so you hate him for no reason? it makes absolutely no sense. I could go even further into how worse Kang's personality is and how the things he experienced arent even that bad but theres no need when the logic looks like this, with the main reason being i just dont want to do so.
