I'm not a writer, but plenty of times whenever I wrote essays for school, I also had this feeling whenever I and reviewing that it's not the way I want it. Majority of the essays, even though I got top marks, I'm not happy with their condition.

I also write, not profesionaly but I got lucky and published some of my stories in a small university magazine, here in my country. You love it the moment you write it, then you are super proud, then you re-read it and think, what the fuck is wrong with me, how the heck did I thought this bullshit was good? Then you re-write it, once twice, thrice, and at the end you just have to finish it however you can otherwise you will never ever end it, so you just comply to your dead line, send the manuscript, then you wish you were dead becouse they must be hating it right now. Then it gets published and just for a moment you think "god, I must be a genius", then your read it again in the pages, read the other works there and think," nop, this is still shit", and wish to die to be put out of your misery until somebody tells you: "hey, your story was really fun!". That moment makes all the self doubt and self hatred worth it. Then your repeat it all over again.

And it'll take 15 years for them to hold hands.
