  Although your comment may be taken as sexist by some people, it isn’t 100% false. I personally know a female artist that outright refuses to draw any male adult character, just females and children. I’ve also played a game where they in the dev notes they literally said that a key npc had to be changed from male to female just because the artist they hired doesn’t do males lol. So i guess they do exist

  Honestly man, it seems fine to me. Sure I thought bro was a girl for a hot minute but the story isn't cringe, just because there's a little bit more too it than hey my life sucks so now I've got a system 😝 type of deal. If the story wants to draw in a bit of realism and tragedy in to the fold I'm all for it.

Sandwiches ! his first life was so sad. I hope that the mother get arrested once someone find his body. She left him to die without food or water, laying in his own piss and unable to even move. (oh and by the way. I use the word "sandwich" instead of swearing)

But is it her? It's already been established the priest can change their face, why wear your own when attacking.
I'm thinking it's the recently dead professor, or at least the one who has been pretending to be him.
The sickness gives a cover and allows him to be out of class, the coughing up blood could be their body rejecting the core. Their ritual was getting more frequent so they where about to act, and a sick professor just happens to die from their sickness. They would also be quite familiar with the TAs face.
