I think I've read this manga years ago then i stopped but it's aight cause i can't remember shit about it lol. Would be neat if i could forget all the other mangas/novels i liked and re read them from scratch 😩.

Simon is unconciously doing, it all srated when Bahil helped him figure how to refine Darkness, this action of Bahil was only to stimulate his senses, but, it had anothr effect on Simon, since then, when he feels he is at a loss he recalls that sensation he had at the time to redo it again, and in doing so, Simon started to skirt and peer into Compello, it then became his habit he didnt know was extreamly dangerous, other things have happened that have made him more in tune to how get that "feeling", when Serene (Novel name) use her feather to learn the combat skill, the feather had the effect to "raise consentation" you can guess huw much of an effect that would have on Simon then but the feather allowed Simon to keep a more compleate form of what he got, also, Princes Crown has an effect to allow the user to enter Compello through a more forcefull means, tough this one was the deeper he had gotten into Compello without actually entering it

now, something to note, Compello DOES have all the answears, but because of how it works, you can only ever take at most scraps of note from it, yes, this habit is giving Simon an unfair edge in some things, like when he remade the Ratmen into a Rat Monster, that was alos one of his first times semi using Compello, but then there a many other time like with Corpse Explosion that he forgot how it was made, its also the reason he allways end up so fatigued afterwards, cause it take a LOT of mental strength to not lose your mind making it very taxing

lastly, 2 more small details, 1, Richard taught Simon how to use Corpse Explosion, this was skipped, also, Simon still doesnt really have control over Holliness, he just figured out how to open and close the faucet, but its still not compleatly controled

so this IS where they are ending Season 1... tough it would be after this story but oh well

also, must mention, I reread the Novel cause I knew something was off, and I was right, it was during the attack of the Saintess, in the talk betweem the professors, it omited something HUGE

as Bahil calls simmon strength his maddness, after that point, Compello is explained and that it is what Simon in unconsiously doing every time his eyes shine golden and why that is maddness, and yes, it is maddness, tough, should note first of all, he is not trully entering Compello, but rather skmming on its borders and infering knowledge from it and dechiphering it himself

so first, Compello is a state anyone can enter by hyper concentrating in something, its something akin to the realm of the mind or a collective unconcious, in it, all the worlds information exist, but what you can acces is limited to various unknows, few known ones is the individuals "Talent" what exactly is this talent is not really known, but lets say Simon is WAY beyond what they think of, another factor is what you are looking for, if you are looking for infor on curses then a section of Compello with material related to curses and ONLY curses is there, or how Simon often uses it, Summonology, or more recently, his white form, but the amount and level of the info on it is based on the previous talent, lastly, as with other "Hyper Focus" tropes, time slows down, the deeper in you are the more it slows, so everytime you see Simon drawn with yellow/Golden eyes, understand he is seeing the world in slow motion

the dangers of Compello is that if one trully enters it, there have been very few people that dont end up braindead because of it, since info is being downloaded beyond the phisical limit and Compello adds info on your theorical potential in ALL directions, then a lot of people just end up shuting donw, even then of those who have entered, they end up forgetting a lot of what they saw in Compello, just having vague notions of it, and then the remaining extreamly small part that are able to retain a piece of the info obtained, so essentially it is known to exits but no one is mad enough to try and risk it, yet
