@Kravens Last Hunt Idk why you blocked me for a comment. Too sensitive mate. My reply back: Maybe because I've read the LN that my opinion of her is different. She had lost her sister and now Vikir. Idk how you feel about your loved ones but losing both isn't easy. Especially since the root cause is due to barbarians. Firstly, she used dark arts to revived Vikir, not searched for him. It only failed since he was alive then which you would presume someone to be dead if they're missing for a year. The demon only formed a contract with her when she was dying. It made sense to continue living then since her master sacrificed himself for her to live. In a world where there's a chance to bring back the dead, I'm certain many would take the chance. She's young and naive. Heck even the Elric bothers sacrificed a lot more just to bring their mom back. Especially when she's good enough to figure out the spell without the need to sacrifice or offer something of similar value like the alchemist brothers

Yeah. Like they didn't stop the bug infestation. Like Malaria still is an issue in Africa due to the sheer number of population despite we're having the cure nowadays. Like, as a biologist myself, the claim about centipede being porous is nonsense, chitin exoskeleton is solid.

Chitin or chitosa. Is the building blocks of the hard shell in insects, crustacean, mollusk and so on. It's not porous. It being porous defeats the purpose of it being exoskeleton in the first place. Centipede floats in water, they can swim. It's just they hate water. I've seen it myself as I was in a field study about entomology. There's no way it can floats if it's porous like he said.
