Not really. To a certain class of absolute scum, "while they're still warm" is close enough and it means the victim won't struggle either. They (probably) wouldn't be interested in a cadaver that had been dead any real length of time, and perhaps worst of all it's entirely possible she was still barely alive when he started and died during the act.
