Why would an Author introduce guns that even normal people can use to kill a horde of orcs, and then abandon those same guns completely? Don't introduce the guns in the first place, or keep them all the way through, because this shit doesn't make any sense

      For whatever reason, the merc outfit that he was with, didn't let him keep guns. Also I bet guns are super expensive, while swords drop from any dead enemy.
