No the Duke is definitely an asshole, his business practices is the same as the Walmart method, to move into a location and drive out smaller local businesses by abusing supply chain superiority and better budgets and under cutting their products with cheaper prices only to Jack up the price when they gain market dominance in the area.

IDC that his father wished it of him, he's been a horrific jerk to this girl from the start. Did you not SEE the woman's memories? Mrf1sterI'mma be real, its gotten to the point where I'm losing all interest purely because it seems like there is ZERO way for the humans to win because of the insane threat level of each enemy. It keeps ramping up more and more with zero peace inbetween it or just more exposition due to the sheer amount of Worlds connected together. I might give this up for now and just come back later.
