In the mid-1990's, Yasuhiro Imagawa adapted Mitsuteru Yokoyama's original manga, Giant Robo, into a 7-part OVA series entitled Giant Robo: The Animation - The Day the Earth Stood Still. Imagawa's adaption strayed far from Yokoyama's Giant Robo, featuring a mostly original storyline which included characters and elements pulled from several other Yokoyama projects, such as Tetsujin 28 and Babel II. Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Burned is another story set in the universe created in Giant Robo: The Animation, in which young Daisaku Kusama commands Giant Robo, the mightiest robot of our world, in the battle against the underground terrorist organization known as Big Fire.

The story focuses on the exploits of Mars, a mysterious boy found on the uninhabited island Akinoshima by a news reporter. This classic manga series is by the same genius of Tetsujin 28 and Giant Robo.

A biographical account of the famous Mongolian leader Temuchin who united the numerous Mongolian tribes in the 13th century, ultimately becoming titled as Chinggis Khan. It faithfully follows the account given in the historical document, The Secret History of the Mongols.

It focuses on a boy named Yamano Koichi, who is one day revealed to be the heir to the supernatural powers of an alien named Babel, who was stranded on Earth 5000 years ago and built the biblical Tower of Babel. Koichi becomes Babel II, armed with supernatural powers and served the Three Servants: the shapeshifting Rodem, the giant, pterodactyl-like Ropross, and the humanoid aquatic robot Poseidon. With his newfound powers, Babel II seeks to put an end to the ambition to Yomi, a man from the Himalayas who seeks world domination.
